Data & analytics

Marketing analytics without reading your memories.

RYMVI draws a hard boundary between product/marketing measurement and the content people save inside the app.

What analytics may measure

  • Website visits and page views
  • Broad device or browser information
  • Approximate region where permitted
  • Acquisition source and campaign attribution
  • Coarse feature events, such as whether a feature was used

What analytics must never contain

  • Saved memory titles or notes
  • Saved URLs or captions
  • Photos, videos or documents
  • File names
  • AI questions or AI conversation content
  • Custom category names
  • Marketplace/listing details saved by a user
  • Precise GPS coordinates or manually entered addresses

Google Analytics

The website includes an optional, consent-controlled Google Analytics integration that is disabled until a measurement ID is configured. Analytics storage is denied by default and only enabled after consent. Advertising storage and personalization remain denied in the provided configuration.

Advertising later

If RYMVI later uses advertising or remarketing features, the implementation must add the appropriate consent and privacy controls. Memory content must not become advertising targeting data.

See the Privacy Policy for the wider data picture.
